예 [ye] vai 네 [ne] - yes (jā)

Starp 네 [ne] un 예 [ye], 예 [ye] ir nedaudz pieklājīgāka forma, bet abas ir formālas.
Neformālai runai izmanto 응[eung] un 어[eo] (piemēram, ar draugiem). 응[eung] skan more in a cute way, bet 어[eo] - nedaudz vīrišķīgāk.

안녕히계세요 [annyeonghigyeseyo] - good bye (Šo saka tas, kas dodas prom. Burtisks tulkojums būtu "stay with peace") <-- polite form
잘있아요 [jal issayo] - same meaning, but informal form.

안녕히가세요 [annyeonghigaseyo] - good bye (šo saka tas, kas paliek. Burtisks tulkojums būtu "go with peace") <-- polite form
잘가요 [jalgayo] - same meaning, but informal form.

안녕 [annyeong] - good bye (informal, used with friends, family ect.).

언니 [eonni] - older sister (for woman t.i. tikai sieviešu dzimtas pārstāve tā var saukt savu vecāko māsu).
누나 [nuna] - older sister (for man t.i. tikai vīriešu dzimtas pārstāvis tā var saukt savu vecāko māsu).
